چکیده
Solar tunnel drying and semiwash processing methods are popular among coffee growers in southwestern Ethiopia. However, the effect of these on quality has not been studied detail. The objective this study was to evaluate varieties at Gomma-I Limmu Kossa areas 2016/2017 growing season. Two (fully washed semiwashed) three (solar tunnel, artificial, natural sun) were compared using (741, 7440, 74110) test their quality. Coffee beans processed by method dried solar produced nondefective (primary secondary) with others both locations. Similarly, semiwashed recorded highest mean value for shape make body than wet method. Best bean color, greenish from fully All medium pointed acidity, second most acceptable grade all methods. more flavor sun also better artificial drier. In general, higher preliminary total specialty value, graded under Q1. Hence, area can use dryer as an alternative/complementary since they produce or equivalent product full wash
